Chaos Head

Brief description by anibd (Anime Database)

Based on a Japanese visual novel developed by 5bp and Nitroplus, Chaos;Head is a delusional murder mystery story, with strong elements of gore, psychology and science fiction. The game uses a feature called a "delusional trigger", which allows the player adjust the ‘realness’ or ‘surrealness’ of the perspective of the main character, which directly affects the storyline.

The main character, Takumi is a troubled young man who struggles to distinguish reality from his delusions, while being pursued by the perpetrator of a series of bloody murders, (or so he thinks). His travels take him in and around Shibuya, Tokyo and his adventures bring him in contact with various scientific themes such as the concepts of matter, antimatter, and the Dirac sea.

The story has been serialized in the manga magazine Dengeki Daioh. A second manga adaptation (described as a side story) appears in the Sept ‘08 issue of Comic Alive.


Finished watching early this year. Interesting anime but at the same time confusing. When you watch it, its like you understand but at the same time you don't, that kind of feeling. Like watching 'Lost' (American television series)? Lol. For me, I find this anime filled with suspense.

The year is 1939 - it was then that the Neuroi appeared. Nobody knows where they came from or what their ultimate agenda is, but the fact remains that their attacks drove people out of their towns and cities. In order to take arms against them, humanity develops a new anti-Neuroi weapon called the "Striker Unit." Using the power of magic to fight against the monsters, this new device enhances and amplifies the power of female magic-wielders. To use this device, young witches from all over the world have been brought together to form an elite task force unit called the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, commonly known as the "Strike Witches."


Just finish watching Strike Witches (ストライクウィッチーズ) yesterday. Good anime! Worth watching! But my top preferred anime is still Code Geass, Seto No Hanayome, Gundam 00, and some others maybe :D

Problems do arise after watching anime which have figures produced after it. Seen nendoroid Miyafuji Yoshika for some time but didn't feel like buying it. However, after watching Strike Witches.. tempted to buy already =.=" anyone experienced this kind of feeling before?
